I cannot reproduce this bug in 1.10.1.

I moved 350 messages to a trash folder on the dimap server.

During the Trash Synchronization while kmail was performing a scheduled sync. I
moved another 150 messages from the inbox to trash.

There was no crash, and the 150 messages where properly synchronized at the
next interval.
