Please provide steps to reproduce the problem (the other bug report is rather old and probably a mix of all kind of problems).

Are you using filters? Do you loose every mail or just some mails? If you loose only some mails, which do you loose? When do you loose mails? When synchronizing or when doing other actions?

Providing minimal steps to help us reprodcue the problem would be really appreciated. The best way would be to start with a new config (for example with a new user) and a new mail account, and then finding a way to reliably reproduce the problem.
