It can and does.  Wouldn't it be useful for you to actually get some FACTS rather than "..doubt it."

This is not a concern.  Thunderbird, Evolution, and whatever MY CUSTOMERS use does just fine with HTML.

Well, in the REAL WORLD our customers use it and it is very helpful in sending messages which deal with content where the formatting helps convey meaning.  The fact that you don't understand the need, and cannot get your mind wrapped around it doesn't make it any less an issue.  Stop pretending you are in a position to judge others.

What???  Maybe if you are using Windows and Outlook, but is KMail so fragile that HTML will break it?  If so, let me know and I can get everyone onto Thunderbird ASAP.  If your IT department things HTML email is a security risk, perhaps they should take a quickie course on firewall and proxyserver configuration.

Yes, it does, but it is a pain to edit, in-line quote and you cannot cut-and-paste it very well (adds a CR-LF at the end of each line)

So would all those pesky customers as well.

Please, get a clue.  Your world is obviously very insular.  If this is the attitude of KMail then I hope someone starts another KDE native e-mail ASAP.
