Dark theme on Debian with Gnome

Hello, I've just installed Kdenlive 16.12.2 (from distro repository) on
Debian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch) with only Gnome desktop:

$ sudo apt-get install kdenlive breeze-icon-theme

When I go to Settings -> Theme -> Configuration, application complains
with "Cannot start Colors Settings panel from KDE Control Center. Please
check your system..."
I've tried to install qtcurve with no success.

What solely package do I need to install to satisfy this requirement?
Is there some alternative to dowload and apply a theme without having to
install much KDE stuff?
