17.07.70: can't disable clip in timeline

Hi,

anybody else seeing this with the recent 17.07.70 installed from the 
development ppa? I cannot disable clips in the timeline: while the menu 
item is available it seems to do nothing. And no warning or error 
message either. When I try to use the "Clip" menu, then all "Audio & 
Video", "Video only", "Audio only" are grayed out, despite having 
selected a timeline clip. Happens with image clips and video clips.
