[kdenlive] Main guide does not appear in timeline

Brian,

Thanks for the help.

If I import a clip and drag it to the timeline it appears in the clip 
monitor (paused at the start) and a pink bar appears in the timeline 
representing the duration of the clip. I can drag this pink bar around. 
The clip can be started and paused with the space bar as you suggested.

If I select view > project monitor, I do after several attempts, get a 
window similar in format to the clip monitor. Playing the timeline from 
the project monitor does show the moving guide and is able to be moved 
around as I had seen in the video tutorials.

I also found that I could docked the project monitor.

Going back to the videos I watched I can see that the Clip Monitor - 
Project Monitor and Record Monitor were historically all in one widget 
AND they did have the Project Monitor on top. On my new install the 
Project Monitor was not a tab in the Monitor Widget as in previous 
versions and can't be reassociated with the other monitors. Dragging the 
Project Monitor to the Kdenlive 'Desktop' just pushes other elements to 
one side.

Is this a bug or by design?
