Yes, a filter should request a progressive image if it makes sense.
For example, because the scaling filters are not field-aware, they
currently do whenever the vertical resolution is changed. The filter
should set property "consumer_deinterlace" to 1 on the frame before
calling mlt_frame_get_image().

Marco, I pulled your latest code into a branch for evaluation, but did
not yet have time to give a good review. This weekend I plan to.
