Well, to be honest, you seem to have lots of space at this resolution, but
you're not using it to be more productive either.
You just have lots of blank spaces here and there (I'm talking of the upper
left panel of the interface, of course, the rest is ok)
If this "Transition panel" required less space, perhaps you could have
another panel opened to the left at the same time (Project Tree,
Vectorscope, whatever...)

That should be the main cause of After Effects having failed miserably as a
