[Kdenlive-devel] KDEnlive and OpenShot

Can I just chime in and suggest implementing an importer/exporter for an
existing standard such as the Final Cut Pro XML Interchange Format for
importing/exporting projects, rather than devising a new one that would be
used only by KDL/OpenShot:

This of course assumes that the DTD would support a sufficient amount of
Kdenlive's feature set (which, given that it's good enough for FCP which has
a huge market share in the professional video editing market, I imagine it
would be good enough for KDL) but I haven't read through it myself and I'm
not familiar enough with KDL to say.
