I believe fixing the MacOsX compiling issues would be great. It could
double the number of Kdenlive users. 

I manage a website in France with 400.000 unique visitors per months.
GNU/Linux users account for 6% of visitors and MacOsX 6% too. 

If you would like to try, I have access to a remote MacOsX station. I
only have to ask permission to the owner of the station and grant you
access.
