i've tweaked the reindent script to use linux brace placement and pushed the 
results into

  git://kdenlive.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/kdenlive rayl/reindent

i'll wait a day or so, in case anyone has an issue with this change, then 
commit it to trunk friday evening.
