[Kdenlive-devel] second level menu

Hi

I find really inelegant when a submenu like "Timeline" -> "Add custom effect" 
is empty and selecting him does show noting. It is a bit confusing because a 
user needs to know at least that it is really empty.

Is it possible to make those menu showing the string "No content" or something 
similar when are empty? Can you add this to kdenlive or it is a kdelibs issue?
