Interestingly, I just came across a MPEG-2 transport stream where ffmpeg+mlt 
was correct, and avidemux2 could only see 10 fewer frames. I am not going to 
work on this issue for a while, but I know I will turn to avidemux2 source 
code in the future to learn some things from it.
