ok, but not really handy when having a lot of edits, markers, guides, ... 
within the i/o region.
also this actually don't work in the clip viewer.
maybe I should give an example why I like to have this feature:
this is pretty handy when you search an audio cue point in a source clip, but 
have to adapt it by just some frames - so you could do it this way:

search an start point, 
set in point,
press play, 
start point don't fit, 
execute "goto in point" action,
move timeline slider by left/right arrow by just some frames or just by one 
frame,
set new in point,
check it by play again,
and son on till the in point fit users needs.

in addition with an "play to out point" action this also could be used to 
adapt the out point the same way.

what about adding effect(s) to selected clip(s) by just double click or by 
shortcut ?
