Now, what about non-destructive editing.

In fact, would it be possible to set 
a default non-destructive encoding 
in each project (for example mpeg2 or mpeg4).

If my source file is high quality Mpeg4,
no special effect is applied,
will Kdenlive / mlt be able to export most frames
using ffmpeg -acodec copy -vcodec copy?

IMHO this is the most needed feature.
Do you think it will one day be possible?
