This is strange. In fact, our admin directory is a link to KDE 3.5's 
admin directory. I just checked and it seems like it is up to date.

I would be surprised if the whole KDE project needs a patch to be 
compiled on AMD64...

Maybe it has more to do with a missing configuration flag.
Did you try to configure kdenlive with the --enable-libsuffix=none option ?

Anyways, the issue needs to be fixed at the KDE admin level. If the 
configure switch doesn't solve the problem, I would recommand that you 
ask the question on the kde-devel mailing list http://kde.org/mailinglists/
