Well, did you have a look at our download & compile instructions ?

I tried to explain all dependencies in this page so that it should be easy to 
compile Kdenlive. If you think it is not clear enough, please send your 
feedback so that I can improve the instructions.

From your compile log, I think you need to install the SDL development 
packages (libsdl1.2-dev and libsdl-image1.2-dev)
