No, you did everything right. It's just that I don't really know how to help 
you. From the crash log, it seems to be a problem with ffmeg (libavformat). 
Did you also install it from an rpm ? Maybe you have an old ffmpeg version. 
Can you please tell me the output of:

ffmpeg -v
