Oh... I didn't realize that. yes, rgb is much slower than xv.
I am implementing a yuv scaler (bicubic). when it's working, I can go on and 
implement NTSC -> PAL (without frame interpolation).  The next would be 
tri-cubic interpolation, but that will have to wait ;-).  I am also trying 
out enix. this might be a very usefull thing if it's working...
