I have been thinking about this problem as well, but am not sure which is my
preferred solution. For the moment, I don't intend to work on keyframes for
a while - what you see is a certain proof of concept that it is possible to
mix video tracks and keyframe tracks on the timeline without breaking
everything.
There is no reason why a second timeline (with keyframes for only one track)
could not be placed in a second window, or as a second view of the timeline,
or any other possibility. I just need lots of ideas about why people want me
to implement it in a particular way, and the advantages and disadvantages of
doing so.
Remember, I'm looking to improve on existing interfaces though, not simply
copy them ;-)
Cheers,
Jason
