F1 is help, F2 is edit -- function keys are already much used.
Selecting a line in a multiline text edit widget is as simple as Home;Shift+End,
selecting a sentence is Home;Shift+Down etc. Those are standard shortcuts, everyone
knows them. If a function key changed the meaning of the next click, how would anyone
figure out that hidden feature? I'm not convinced.
