Problem Connecting (probably OT)

Hi Jonathan,
I don't think there's anything specific to KDE Connect which would stop
it from working across two different subnets like you have described.
However, there are some complexities:
Can packets route between your two subnets? The easiest way to answer
this is to try to ping your computer from your phone or your phone from
your computer
If you can route packets between the two subnets but autodiscovery isn't
working, it might work for you to manually add your computer's IP
address in the phone's settings.
If packets can't route, you could try to go down the networking rabbit
hole and add routes between your two networks. However, it might be
easier to see if you can get your wireless router to behave as more of a
wireless switch and put everything on the 192.168.1.x network (you say
that it's used only to provide a wireless hotspot, but it appears to be
acting as a DHCP server and NAT/gateway as well)
Thanks,
Simon
