I think i have now found my problem.

When the phone (blackberry keyone with android) goes into power save and turns
off the screen, it stops the desktop and phone from making a pair.
The phone screen turns on for incoming SMS/email etc and shows them on the
phone screen but does not wake up when trying to pair with the desktop.
If it is paired okay during your session and the phone screen later turns off
to save power, you'll get the SMS on the desktop but it will not allow you to
reply to it.

I can't seem to find any config item in Android to change this situation, i.e.
Wake up when a pair is being attempted.

Regards

Ian
