List archive wanted

I run it daily to keep a sort of backup of my mails; this dates from when I 
kept having to restore from archive.

It isn't what I'd call a proper archive though; as far as I can see, all it 
does is to call all the messages from the database (mySQL or whatever) and tar 
them up. It ignores all other attributes than the content of each message: no 
Important mark, for example, and certainly nothing about the folders.
