How do I use kscreen?

Yes, I'm on Gentoo (~amd64).

Only one file is in there:

   $ ls -l /usr/share/doc/kscreen-1.0.71/
   total 4
   -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 727 Oct 27 10:59 kded.README.bz2

and it doesn't say anything useful.

It brings up an almost empty window:

So kscreen works, but cannot offer configuration for my monitor, it seems?

Fortunately NVidia offers their own tool, which works, so for now I have 
a functional system. Hopefully there's a solution for this in the future.
