kmail | email viewing | background decoration how to make it default?

As of these day I am still searching the 
"view->headers->... " as mentioned  in the following bug report. 
This will allow the select a background email decoration as default for all email, and not a single one see bugreport

Since after a very constructive "Too bad for you", (and a closing one or two bug closing as invalide (!) ) I am getting no other response, I come and ask here in the hope that someone is not as idiot as I am and can find this famous menu that does not appear here on my kmail 4.12....
