KDE's rough edges... what are your experiences?

FWIW, I've quit worrying much about that.  It used to bother me, but 
somewhere along the line I decided that if it took that long to compose 
and I decide it's not worth sending, I figure there must have been some 
reason I needed to write it for myself or I wouldn't have bothered 
writing it in the first place, so I'm the better for having written it, 
regardless of whether I send it or simply hit the X and close the window 
without sending.  So sometimes I do simply hit that X, even if it's an 
hour or more of work I'm blowing away.
