ah, i didn't know that. about the time i left openSUSE, several months ago, 
there were some problems with KDE repos, but i thought those would have been 
sorted out. apparently not yet...or wait: is oS 11.4 still officially 
maintained? if not, no wonder repos aren't backported.

sounds good; i remember i did have a few minor troubles now & then with PIM 
stuff incl. kmail, but was always able to get things sorted w/o too much 
trouble. glad it seems to have worked for you, too.
