Is there anyway to set Kmail2 to collapse all threads by default?

I am currently using Kmail2 (KMail 4.8.3) and this by default keeps all 
threads in the folders Expanded.

I would rather like to set it to Collapse all Threads in all Folders.
I searched and could not find a way to do this.
The View tab in the Folder properties does not have an option for this
