Kile setup for Physics Forum format

Physics Forum uses a version of latex that brackets inline math with 
[itex]...[/itex] and will not accept the $...$ delimiters used by Kile. 
Is there any way to make Kile compatible with Physics Forum's format. I 
really need an offline editor that produces script that I can cut and 
paste to PF's web page.
