question about printer default settings

Hi,

kubuntu natty, kde4.6.2

printing from a kde-application, for example: kmail - standard-printer i'm 
able
to define with ~/.cups/lpoptions :  Default printername

but how to define the standard properties - Duplex...?

In kde3.x i was able with the program kprinter to define that, but in kde4
kprinter is gone.

Any idea's?
