Dolphin file sort

Hello,

(kde 4.3.3 on ubuntu 9.10)

I noticed a "strangety" ;-) in Dolphin. When sorting by name, I get eg:
file
file1
file2
file11
_file

Which means files are not sorted by name at all, but according to a very special algorithm. I can indeed understand the rationale behind, but do not agree at all: this is a non-feature. I expect instead a real textual sort:
_file
file
file1
file11
file2
This allows giving names that together deal as auto-sort, so as to find files at a known place. (Eg how else ensure a file or folder will always be found on top of list? How to place a file between file1 & file2?)

Ps: while testing this, I noticed the "create new" button does not work (drop down list never drops down). But the matching menu entry works.
