Is anyone having issue viewing avi's/mpg's with Kubuntu Jaunty?

Thanks, I'll definitely check this out tomorrow. I must add that the
problem isn't just avi's, but also mpg's and wmv's. Same with a regular
dvd movie/disk. Blue screen and audio.
Still, your suggestion is a good one and I'll take a look tomorrow after
work.
