Moving applications to different workspaces

So the application is listed on the panel but does not show up on the desktop 
(1) right? Just right click on the panel in some empty area of the task bar. 
You should get an option that says "Task Manager Settings". Click on it and 
you would be presented with configuration options. Adjust the "filters" to 
your taste. :) HTH
