Moving applications to different workspaces

Hi all,

First of all congrats to the kde developers. I tried kde 4.2.3 today and I 
was convinced to switch to kde after being a diehard gnome user for quite 
a number of years.

The only thing I'm concerned about is that when I have multiple 
application windows open, I'd like to move them to different desktops or 
workspaces if you will. If I right click on an application, there's an 
option for me to move it to a different desktop but for some reason I 
still see the application in my current desktop even after moving it to a 
different desktop. Why is that the case? How can I ensure that if I move 
an application to desktop 4, I don't see it on desktop 1's panel?
