Kmail : problem in checking Gmail with IMAP account type

Hi, Everytime I try to check my gmail account which is configured to use IMAP, 
kmail gives me this error: 

Error while querying the server status.
Unable to open folder [Gmail]. The server replied: Unknown Mailbox: [Gmail] 
(Failure)

What can I do for this? Is it a bug in kmail?
