System Settings, Login manager configuration as user

Hi there!

How do I change the login-manager settings in a more efficent way than this

Open konsole. enter "xhost +"
su -
export DISPLAY=:0
systemsettings


In KDE3.5.x there was a button "Superuser-Mode", but it seems to be removed 
:-(
