Strange error: KDEsu 3.5 BRANCH

I started getting this error:

kdesu (kdelibs): ERROR: [kcookie.cpp:107] popen(): Function not implemented

when I try to use 'kdesu' in a Konsole.

This makes very little sense and Google was no help.

Any ideas?
