"KDE 3 is obsolete and largely unmaintained"?

Well this is not really true at all. KDE 3.5.10 is very very solid and
is not unmaintained. It still gets some updates and security fixes. I
am a seasoned user and still currently can't move to KDE4 (at least
not on my distro of choice ).

KDE 3.5.10 is a very very usable rock solid and fast desktop. Having
said that , kde 4 is gorgeous and as soon as I can move over I will.
