Printer Applet Crash

I recently installed the printer applet during a KDE 3.5.9 session on
openSuSE 11.0.  I'd had no luck running KDE 4.x on this machine (Toshiba
Satellite), but had done a number of updates, so I figured I'd try
4.1.2, and this time kdeinit was able to run, and I got a session.

But upon startup, there was a crash for the printer applet.  The crash
dialog asked me to file a bug report, so I created a KDE bugzilla
account and tried to do that.  However, I couldn't find a way (using the
wizard) to select the printer applet as the subject of my report.  And
not being able to do that, I couldn't get any farther with the wizard,
and I gave up on it.  (There may be a way around that, but I'm not very
familiar with bugzilla.)

Looking for some other way to get the information to KDE, I subscribed
to this list.   I have the crash dialog text copied to my clipboard, so
I'm going to paste it here, in case it might be useful.  Apologies if
this isn't the preferred way to convey the info, or if it's already a
well-known bug, but as a developer myself, I hate to see crash
information lost.
