MSN & Yahoo Protocol Refusing to Connect

Im using KDE 4.1.2 on FreeBSD 7.1-PRERELEASE on AMD64 with Kopete 0.60.2 ...

I see a lot of patches etc for fixing issues on KDE3.x but this issue has
been ongoing on KDE4 for quite some time, is there a patch or something
somewhere im missing ?
