dcop is replaced by dbus in KDE4.
You can use qdbus to make dbus calls in a similar why as with dcop for dcop.
And you can use qdbusviewer to browse all dbus objects and its methods (to find
the one needed for kmix settings) (that is similar to kdcop with KDE3)
