How do I make commands start when I log in?

Systemsettings / Advanced tab / Autostart

If you want to add some parameter, the easiest way is to create an entry in
the K Menu (right click on the K Menu, Menu Editor, and add a New Item
somewhere... you can also create a new submenu for that purpose). Once your
new menu entry works as you need it, you can choose it in the above mentioned
place.
