Yes.  The following contain "Core".

gnome-about.desktop, gnome-panel.desktop,
nautilus-cd-burner-open-iso.desktop, nautilus-cd-burner.desktop

The following contain "Settings".

cddb-slave.desktop, fedora-bluetooth-properties.desktop,
fedora-im-chooser.desktop, gnome-gdmphotosetup.desktop,

Yes.  I'm running FC7 at the moment.

I'll be trying this on a RHEL 5 Desktop client, too.  I'll update
