A couple of questions about kdetv

If this is the wrong place to post let me know, but I have two problems
with kdetv (OpenSuse 10.2, KDE 3.5.5 "release 45"):


1.  KDE seems to invariably crash with a SIGINT 11.  Sometimes it takes
hours, sometimes minutes, but it does.  I am using a Hauppage WinTV
GO-Plus card.
2.  With my mouse (a compaq two button w/ middle wheel), if I do not
have focus on the tv list, if I accidentally spin the wheel, it changes
channels.  Once I release up, it refuses to do that again.  It's not
that much of a bother, but I'd rather have consistent behavior.
