Suspend without asking for password

A last go: select KPowersave in Synaptic (if you don't have Synaptic install
it), right click, and install all the recommended and suggested.

It might be the kernel too, in whose case you'll have to wait for the next
release of Ubuntu (or try to install the latest from kernel.org).
