KDE desktop - "Start Here"?

When I load KDE, the desktop displays 2 icons - "Trash" and "Start Here".

And "Start Here" does nothing.  Nor have I succeeded in finding any
documentation that might help.

I suspect that it is a non-issue,  because I use multiple desktops - most
have one routinely-used application.  None of these applications
are iconised. 2 desktops are held in reserve, for loading applications
that are used infrequently; such applications are called with  Alt+F2 and
closed when no longer needed.

I thought that the question was worth asking despite the fact that it is
not a problem on my setup.
