[KMAIL] association of an identity with a smtp account

Yes, no problem.

Open the KMail configuration dialog and select one of those identities. On the 
dialog you get for "Edit..." there is a tab which I guess is 
called "Advanced" in English (third tab)
The last option on this tab is the transprot to use for sending mails.
