Win key not working

More info on this problem:
The win key does not work properly because of a bug in xorg. Adding the
following line to keyboard configuration section in xorg.conf:
Option "XkbOptions" "altwin:meta_win"
should solve the problem (and it does), but then the AltGr key stops working
as 3rd level modifier. However, the two winkeys work.
adding the line:
Option "XkbOptions" "altwin:meta_win,lv3:ralt_switch"
should solve both problems, but it doesn't due to another (or it's the same?)
bug in xorg. This bug is old and, while I was researching it, I saw a message
from a Debian maintainer stating that it would be solved soon. But the message
was from oct/2004 and it looks like it has not been solved yet.
The win key bug is in xorg's bugzilla as NEW (jul/2006) and it seems the
developers won't give it attention... I suggest you add your comments there
and vote on this bug:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7008
However, while we wait for a fix, adding the line:
Option "XkbOptions" "altwin:left_meta_win"
may be used as a workaround. With this line, the left win key and AltGr work,
but the right one may or may not work.
