Kontact and Kmail integration

That shouldn't happen.
I am not sure what could trigger this, but maybe KMail is already running 
before Kontact is started and thus cannot be loaded as a part of Kontact.

Check, for example using kdcop, if KMail is registered after you login into 
KDE, before starting Kontact.

A situation where this can currently happen is using an IMAP based addressbook 
resource and having an application which uses the addressbook launched before 
Kontact, for example Kopete.
